By choosing to enroll in one of English with Kim's online courses and programs or to meet for private or group coaching sessions, you agree to the following policies.
We have included these policies in clear, easy-to-understand language, but are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact us.

Policies for Online Courses and Programs
Product Description and Pricing
We try to be as clear and detailed as possible when describing online courses, coaching, and programs, but the description may not be completely accurate, up-to-date, or error-free.
For this reason, the description is regularly updated with any changes or additions. In addition, we may adjust or correct errors in pricing. Any pricing changes do not apply to previously purchased products and services.
Similarly, we may choose to offer special, limited-time promotions, but these are subject to change at any time and do not apply to past purchases.
Payment
All payment is arranged through PayPal or Stripe. You may pay with your checking account or credit/debit card.
Please note that your payment authorizes one person (you) to participate in the course or program.
If you would like to use any program with your colleagues, employees, or students, you will need to purchase additional licenses. Please contact us for group pricing.
Refunds
Because we offer digital programs with dozens of downloadable resources, purchases are non-refundable.
As such, you agree not to dispute a payment with your financial institution and/or credit card provider for products, programs, courses, or services you purchased and which we granted you access to.
However, we want you to be happy with your investment; if you are not happy with a course or program, please contact us directly so we can work together to find a solution.
Technology and Services
We host our programs and courses on a private platform called Podia which transmits and stores your personal information securely.
You can access all of your courses and programs at learn.englishwithkim.com.
If you forget or lose your password, you can reset your password by clicking "Forgot your password?" on the log-in screen. We do not have access to your password. You are responsible for keeping your login information safe.
We highly recommend that you use headphones or earphones to listen to the course materials so that you can hear the audio clearly.
Access to Course Platform and Online Courses, Products, and Programs
As mentioned above, our online courses, products, and programs are hosted on an external platform. You must have access to the internet in order to watch the video lessons and download additional materials. You are responsible for finding an appropriate internet connection as well as the costs of accessing the internet.
You will be able to access these online courses and programs for the lifetime of the product. We reserve the right to change or discontinue these courses, products, and programs for any reason.
We will notify you at least two months in advance of any changes to the way these courses, products, or programs are hosted or delivered, but we encourage you to make use of them as soon as you purchase them.
Course Community and Direct Messaging
Each of English with Kim's courses comes with community support inside the course platform. You can ask your questions and get responses from Kim by leaving a comment below each lesson.
You can also message Kim directly through the course platform by using the chat box at the bottom right hand corner of each page.
You are always welcome to email Kim directly with your questions.
Please note that Kim will respond to questions within a few hours during normal working hours (generally weekdays from 10AM to 6PM EST). As a reminder, we observe all U.S. national holidays and do not respond on weekends.
Please note that any additional support, such as live office hours, live video lessons, or feedback, is considered a bonus for enrolling in a program during certain periods of time and is not guaranteed indefinitely. You will be notified in advance of any changes.

Policies for Online Coaching Sessions (including Clarity Consultation and Clarity Check-Up)
Scheduling
Coaching sessions are available seasonally. If they are not currently available, you can sign up for the waiting list to be notified when they are back.
Coaching sessions are limited to specific days and times. Kim is currently coaching Wednesday and Thursday from 11AM-4PM EDT (Boston/NYC time) only.
English with Kim observes all U.S. national holidays.
Please be sure this availability works for your schedule.
Once you have paid for your coaching session, you will receive a link to Kim's online scheduler inside the course dashboard.
This calendar is updated with Kim's real-time availability, and it automatically adjusts to your time zone.
Please note that sessions must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Urgent scheduling requests will incur additional fees and cannot usually be accommodated.
Clarity Consultation / Clarity Check-Up Policy
When you sign up for a Clarity Consultation or Clarity Check-Up, you agree to schedule our meeting and meet with Kim within 30 days of date of purchase.
If you do not meet with Kim within 30 days, you will forfeit your payment. You will not be offered a refund, nor will you be eligible to meet for a Clarity Consultation or Clarity Check-Up at another date.
Rescheduling
If you provide at least 24 hours notice of your desire to reschedule your session, you can change the time of your session without penalty.
Last minute schedule changes cannot be accommodated except in case of emergency (medical emergencies, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters).
If you have an unexpected power outage or serious problems with your internet connection, contact Kim as soon as possible.
Lateness Policy
Kim will continue to be available for 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of your session. When you arrive, we will continue the session for the remaining time of the session. If you arrive 10 minutes late for a 60 minute session, this means that you will have a 50 minute session.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel a session with at least 24 hours notice, you will receive a credit for a future session.
If you cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice, you will NOT receive a refund.
If you do not show up for your session, you will NOT receive a refund.
Technology and Services
English with Kim uses Zoom for online coaching sessions. Alternatively, we can also use Skype upon request.
You will receive the link to the Zoom meeting upon confirmation of the meeting time.
We use Dropbox and Google Drive to share files.
Kim uses an HD webcam and a high-quality microphone for coaching sessions to ensure you can see and hear her well.
We highly recommend that you use a microphone and headphones. Earphones with an attached microphone are usually fine.
Please try to meet with Kim in a quiet, private, brightly lit space so that she can see and hear you clearly.

Your Personal Responsibilities
Kim is an English educator and language professional with over a decade of experience. We truly believe that these suggestions and methods for improving how you sound will help you communicate more clearly in English.
However, you must also invest time and effort into working on how you use your voice and express yourself. It takes time, patience, and practice in order to make significant changes to how you communicate in English.
On this website and during online sessions, assessments, programs, and courses, Kim provides her expertise and guidance, but it is possible that these methods will not work for each and every person.
The information provided on this website, inside the courses, and during coaching sessions is for educational purposes only. There is no guarantee of results.
As mentioned above, Kim is an English educator and language professional and not a speech language pathologist or clinician.
If you have medical concerns about your voice, please consult with a medical professional or speech language pathologist.
